The first of this academic year’s Enterprise Days was a great success, getting our collaboration with City College Norwich off to an exciting start. On 10th November, over 200 students at Taverham High School took part in a day focussing on themes of business, tourism and Norfolk. They were joined by over 20 ambassadors from different backgrounds in the tourism industry and other fields of business. The day was sponsored by Open Contact.
Many thanks from us for a completely amazing day.
Paul Rapley
Assistant Head of Taverham High School
The students had to design a theme park to promote the East of England in 2012. The groups of young people came up with a broad range of ideas, which the local business ambassadors said they found inspirational.
A big thanks goes out to all of the businesses and professionals who were involved, both as ambassadors and sponsors.
We’re excited to welcome Belinda to the Inspired Change team, who will be helping to manage the schools projects as we move into 2012.
Do you want to get involved in the next Enterprise Day? The next events are at City Academy Norwich on 2nd February 2012 and Wayland High School on 9th February 2012. Click here to email us for more information about getting involved.
I had a brilliant day on Thursday and can’t wait for the next one.
